SUMMARY:SDG Filmfest 2026
DESCRIPTION:The project was developed in response to a funding call from UKRI (Research and Innovation)\, to explore the UN sustainable development goals. The festival aims to maximise the impact of research and innovation to improve lives and opportunity in the developing world. \n\nParticipants recognised the scope and importance of global challenges such as equality\, the environment\, human and civil rights\, and the need to raise awareness of these issues within Developing Nations and the West to facilitate their achievement. \n\nSDGFilmfest was established under the Global Challenges Research Fund and now operates through investment from our community partners. SUMMARY:SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FUTURE FORUM
DESCRIPTION:Die Jahreskonferenz der Stiftung Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima\nEin informatives und abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Keynotes\, Panel-Diskussionen und praxisnahen Workshops am 30.09.2026 in Berlin. \nHochkarätige Speaker:innen\, u.a. Andreas Jung (MdB\, CDU)\, Katarin Wagner (Geschäftsführerin\, econsense)\, Marina Gavaldao (Gründerin und Geschäftsführerin\, Ubá Sustainability Institute) und Mahlon Walo (CEO\, Afrinet Carbon Ltd.)\, geben Impulse zu aktuellen Themen rund um Entwicklung und globalen Klimaschutz. Die Nachhaltigkeitsagenda ist aktuell nicht hoch im Kurs\, eine Abschwächung politischer Rahmenbedingungen sowie Verunsicherung und Ablehnung sorgen für spürbaren Gegenwind gegenüber unternehmerischen Nachhaltigkeitsambitionen. Mit Erfolgsgeschichten und gelungenen Beispielen wirken wir dem entgegen und machen deutlich: Gerade jetzt bleibt freiwilliges Engagement wichtig und sinnvoll. In Podiumsdiskussionen werden Vertreter:innen aus Wissenschaft\, Politik und Wirtschaft aktuelle Entwicklungen in der deutschen und europäischen Klimapolitik sowie ihre Perspektiven zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung darlegen. \nModeriert wird die Veranstaltung von dem Wissenschaftsjournalisten und unserem Botschafter Dirk Steffens.
